Restoration

Robyn Roderick Fine Art Appraisal Services offers expert restoration services for paintings, works on paper and decorative art objects. RRFAAS is a member of The American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), the only national organization in the US dedicated to the preservation of cultural material, and utilizes conservators who are active members of the organization. These professional conservators each specialize in a particular material and acquire intimate knowledge about each object they study and treat. Some of them have worked/trained at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware, one of the leading conservation programs in the country. Specialties at Winterthur include paintings, works on paper, textiles, objects (metals, ceramics, glass and organic materials), furniture, preservation housing, documentation, books and library materials. Conservation scientists in the Scientific Research and Analysis Lab at Winterthur have access to sophisticated instruments to study the composition, structure and authenticity of objects.

Robyn Roderick Fine Art Appraisal Services will provide an evaluation of your treasured artwork in Robyn's shop in Swarthmore, or on site in your home or business.

Treasured heirlooms or damaged artwork will be professionally restored after fire, flood or accidental damage and packaged for delivery to the insured’s home or business “like new” again.
