We offer both verbal and written appraisals for art and antiques including paintings, prints, sculpture, silver, ceramics, furniture, and other decorative arts. The appraisals reflect the purpose and intended use of the appraisal.
Types of Appraisals
Sale: We offer our professional advice in the sale of a single item or an entire estate to ensure our clients achieve the maximum financial return for their property.
Insurance Purposes: Replacement Value is used to perform an appraisal for insurance coverage or damage/loss claims.
Estate Planning / Donation / Divorce: A Fair Market Value appraisal is used for equitable distribution of property involved in an estate, evaluating divorce property settlements or charitable contributions of property for tax purposes.

Restoration and Framing
In order to provide the highest quality restoration to our clients, Robyn Roderick Fine Art Appraisal Services employs painting, paper and object conservators with expertise in their field who belong to AIC (The American Institute of Conservation). They have all been professionally trained at the most prestigious schools of conservation.
In addition to restoration services, our certified picture framer has more than 30 years’ experience in conservation framing techniques.
Treasured heirlooms or damaged artwork will be professionally restored after fire, flood or accidental damage and returned to the insured’s home “like new” again.
